Strawberry and Cream Angel Cake with Barrel-Aged Balsamic Drizzle

Ingredients:

  • Angel Food Cake
  • ½ Cup Whipping Cream
  • ½ Cup Mascarpone Cheese
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 pound Strawberries
  • Barrel Aged Balsamic Vinegar

 

Instructions:

  1. Wash and slice strawberries.
  2. Place in bowl with 2 Tbsp sugar – mix and set aside.
  3. Whip together whipping cream, mascarpone cheese, vanilla extract, and 1 Tbsp sugar.
  4. Slice angel food cake – top with strawberries and a scoop of the mascarpone cream.
  5. Finish with a drizzle of barrel aged balsamic vinegar.
  6. Enjoy!
