Origin Story & Distinctive Flavors
This chocolate bar is our tribute to the Lost City of a vanished ancient civilization, discovered within Honduras's biological preserve of virgin tropical rainforest. This heritage is threatened by deforestation with one key protector, the Miskito indigenous people. They are just beginning to make a living from harvesting and fermenting wild cacao that has been growing in the jungle for centuries. We sprinkle fleur de sel onto this dark, rich and creamy milk chocolate. The sea salt complements the savory nutty flavors in the chocolate. This chocolate is our homage to the timelessness of this place.
