Basil-inflected Rose Soda Recipe
- 1 oz Portland Syrups Rose Cordial
- 2-3 leaves fresh basil
- 6oz sparkling water
- Lemon slice
Delicate top notes of muddled fresh basil mingle beautifully with the berry-like characteristics we capture from the flower. A slice of fresh lemon dropped in gives a refreshing bitterness to the nose and gentle fresh acidity.
Muddle fresh basil leaves and syrup in pint glass until bruised and fragrant, then add lemon slice and top with ice. Add sparkling water, stir, and enjoy.
